Father's Day at the Zoo
On Sunday, for Father's Day, we decided to take advantage of our Zoo membership and check out their new Giants of Savanna exhibit. We were SO glad we did! It is awesome.

The absolute best part was the giraffes. Their new home is amazing and you can feed them! I could not believe how close they came. Logan loved it!
It got pretty hot so we had to stop for an ice cream break....of course, he wanted chocolate which lead to an outfit change before finishing the day :)

We had such a wonderful time enjoying the day as a family. We were all totally exhausted afterwards! Logan fell asleep in the car (which never happens anymore) and we all just kind of laid around the rest of the day. Baby Boy continues to grow (and grow!) and is moving all the time now. I have my diabetes test in one week, but I can hardly believe that I'm that far along already! Logan felt his first kick a few days ago. He said, "Why is he kicking me?" It was really cute. He always asks me, "What's he doing in there?" And, sometimes he'll tell me things about him. He'll say, "My baby brother doesn't like to have water dumped on his head." (He said this when we pulled out the baby bath tub.) Or, he'll say, "I think he wants to come out now!" I can imagine that it feels like we've been talking about this baby forever and he's beginning to wonder if he's EVER going to be born. I'm sure by October, he'll be thinking we've been playing this joke on him and he'll be surprised when we actually do bring home a baby :)
