Update

Last week, my Dad had a biopsy and was officially diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. (This was following a week of CAT scans and an MRI which had all pointed to cancer.) My father is truly one of my best friends and closest people to me in the world, so I'm taking this pretty hard. The good news is, he has wonderful doctors, countless friends and family and lots of prayers on his side.

I plan to continue blogging about all of things that bring JOY to our lives--especially sweet little (or not so little anymore!) Logan. My Mom, Dad and I have had many conversations recently about focusing on things that bring us strength, provide us with support and give us joy. I spent the last few weeks digesting all of this and trying to come to a place where I can move forward and do that. I struggled with what to share here. And, this is what I came up with: This is a place to share with family and friends the ups and downs of mothering a two year old. A place to post pictures of our family and share news with those who cannot be with us everyday. So, in light of this and, out of respect for my family and their privacy, I will not be posting updates about my Dad's cancer on this blog. I know that there are many (including my Dad) who enjoy checking our blog for Logan updates and pictures, and find happiness in hearing our funny stories or seeing what we are up too. So, I will do my best to focus on the good things, and to continue to share our lives with you all.

Thanks again for all of the support, patience and prayers.
