Thanksgiving

Gobble Gobble!! We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with the families. We spent Thanksgiving day at my parents house and had dinner on Friday with Shane's parents. We also went out to Shane's grandparents today to celebrate with them and the rest of his family.

Here's a few pics from Thanksgiving Day. I haven't gotten the rest of this weekend ones edited yet. But, soon!!

Logan with his Aunt Jill
Sweet boy.....
His new "camera face"
Me and my Mom

My brother and I carving the turkey that he fried. (It was YUMMY!!!) And, please don't laugh at my Mom's crazy apron that I'm wearing...

Logan and one of his favorite toys ever on my parents front porch.
I'll put another entry on soon with the pictures from today with Shane's family. I don't have the energy to edit out all the red eye right now!

Okay, let's see....what else?!? Well, we bought our appliances for our new house on black friday. We got great deals on them and they are going to be delivered after we close on the house which worked out great. We're ticking off the days until the house is officially ours, but also really enjoying this extra time with family. There is something special about waking up in your pajamas in the same house you grew up in that is especially comforting....My parents have been so great in letting us essentially take over their house.

We're trying to get settled in and find good places just to DO everything. Logan needs a haircut but I'm afraid to take him anywhere in fears that they'll give him a super short boy cut. Booker needs to go to the vet for shots, so we're going to try a new one that was recommended to us. I'm still searching out for the fabric store that will match up to the one in AR that I found only a month or two before I moved. Maybe I'll find something that will compare?? Just the typical things that come with moving and getting settled in a new(ish) city.

Okay, time to sleep!! More updates soon...
