A few house pictures
We've been working steadily on the house since we moved in two weeks ago. We managed to squeeze in a little Christmas decorating too! These are a few pictures of our family room. It's not "done" yet since we still have laminate floors ready to install and pictures to hang on the walls, but you sort of get the idea.
(A little note....yes....there are 4 stockings hanging on our mantle. When Shane and I bought these stockings it was Shane, me, Booker (our older lab) and Sebastian (our kitty.) Since then, our family has grown and changed but the stockings on the mantle have stayed the same. We use stockings that Shane's mother made us for Santa to fill on Christmas Eve night. Shane and I also have keepsake stockings that my Mom did for us using family heirlooms. The ones we hang up just look pretty. I tried to talk Shane into only hanging 3 this year but he said it didn't make sense with our N-O-E-L stocking hangers. Maybe next year we'll change them out to something more personal, who knows!?!)

What is funny is the first thing I noticed was the 4 stockings....:) Maybe to change it up next year reverse the order of the holders so it'll spell "LEON". Just a thought! The house looks great!
