Birthday Week Pictures-Entry #1

We went to TX last weekend for Memorial Day and Logan's 2nd birthday. We drove in on Friday afternoon and were able to hit the big(er) city stores and do some shopping while Logan stayed with Memaw and Granddad. He is to the age where we didn't want him to see us buying his birthday presents. Not to mention, that I completely forgot how much easier it is to shop without a toddler in tow!!

Saturday we had a wonderful lazy day with my parents and Marty and Jill. We swam and grilled out. It was such a great day!! Unfortunatly, I have no pictures from this day...I'm hoping to get some from the family to pop in here soon. My camera was not cooperating at all. I have been so fed up with it that I got a new one on Sunday! I absolutly LOVE it and have taken over 700 pictures since then.

Sunday we spent the day with Shane's parents. Logan had a great time playing with them and our niece Tabi. Shane went in the attic and and retrieved more of his childhood toys for Logan. For some reason, he loves the original Little People and plays with them all of the time. Shane was able to find a TON that he didn't even remember that he had! They were both in heaven, lol.

On Monday (Memorial Day and Logan's birthday) we had cake and let Logan open up his presents from us and my parents. His big gift from us was a new sandbox that Shane built in our backyard. You'll see many pictures of Logan playing in there in future blog entries :)
