Baby Update

On Thursday, I had my 16 week check up. It had been 4 weeks since I had been in, so I was really happy to hear the heartbeat and know that everything is still going along fine. We've decided to go with the doctor's recommendation to do the weekly progesterone shots to (hopefully) prevent me from going into pre-term labor this time and I got my first shot at my last appointment. I have had no problems so far, so fingers crossed this will keep this baby in a little longer then Logan. I swear, if I could have taken 20 shots all in a row to get Logan out of the NICU I would have done it. So, anything that I can do to prevent this baby from a NICU experience, I'm all for. We're praying for a 38 weeks this time! The nurse was laughing because she said usually the progesterone shots work really well. She said I'll probably be 40 weeks and begging to get the baby out!

Right before my appointment I took the Intelligender test that you can buy at Walgreens. It says that is about 80% accurate in predicting the sex of the baby. We're sooooooo anxious to know for sure!! I took this mainly for fun, because, I mean--can they really tell just by your pee? I doubt it...but it'll be fun in a few weeks to see if it was right. Although, it did confirm what I think--GIRL! (You can tell because the color of my urine mixed with the chemical matched the color behind the word girl.)
My big ultrasound is scheduled for June 3rd and we are counting down the days until we know for sure!
