Well, once again, I'm behind on my blogging! So much to share so I'll split it up into a few posts to come over the next day or so....
Shane was on vacation from work last week and it was wonderful to have him home with us. The first weekend we loaded up and went to visit my Granny in Houston. It was beyond great to see her! I always joke that we're exactly alike but just 50 years apart. We drove down on Friday and spent the night so we could be with Granny bright and early Saturday morning. We had a wonderful day together on Saturday and then my parents drove in to spend Saturday night there too. It was so great that my Dad was feeling up to making the trip and that we all got to be together.
Saturday night we took Granny out to dinner for her birthday (which was on Sunday.) After dinner, we came back to our hotel to meet my Dad's brother, Mokey, and have cake and ice cream.

We spent a lot of time both Saturday and Sunday on the deck in front of the nursing home where Granny is. There is a beautiful lake with tons of ducks and turtles. Logan LOVES it!
