10 Things
So, I'm a little behind on this but Megan wrote an entry on her blog and listed mine as a favorite read. In return, I have to list 10 things that you might not know about me. Here it goes!
The rules are that I need to share ten honest things about myself with all of you, and then award ten of my favorite bloggers. I don't think I even read 10 blogs regularly so I'm skipping that part....
1-I am not a gum chewer. I don't like gum and really don't like it when other people chew/smack/make noise with gum around me. I especially don't like it in inappropriate situations like job interviews, funerals, or when someone is working on a salesfloor trying to help you while smacking their gum. Yuck. However, I do sometimes enjoy Orbits Bubble mint flavored gum....I can't explain it!
2-I don't eat red meat. I will occasionally put ground beef in something so my poor husband doesn't turn into a chicken, but otherwise, I avoid it.
3-I love bagels. I really missed them when I lived in Little Rock because there was not one bagel shop there that I knew of, certainly not close to where we were living. I especially love turkey and cheddar on a sesame bagel for lunch. Yummy!
4-I have major mommy guilt. I'm constantly worrying about something or feeling guilty. I know I'm a good mom, but still....is he getting enough vegetables? Is he sleeping enough? Am I spending enough quality time with him? The list goes on...
5-I am equally left and right brained. I am a really creative person and have an art degree but also love order and organization. I also handle all of our family finances and have turned out to be pretty good at excel and creating budget spreadsheets.
6-I am currently avoiding french fries and pretty much anything fried in this pregnancy. It just sounds disgusting. I thought maybe it was a first trimester thing, but here I am almost 15 weeks and it's still there. Good news is, I'm eating a ton of fruit and healthy stuff!
7-I LOVE french vanilla coffee creamer. I always have it in my fridge and am kind of grouchy if I don't have it for my morning coffee (which is decaf lately....)
8-If I could aspire to do anything that I don't already do, I'd love to explore photography. Sadly, I just don't have time right now, but someday I'd really like to take some classes.
9-I believe that in order to give 100% to anything, you have to have 100% to give. You must take care of yourself in order to be the best mother and wife you can be. This means eating well, sleeping enough, and occasional night off to have dinner with friends. All of this will make you a better mother and wife.
10-I've always believed that I can do anything that I set my mind to and I believe that you can too.
