Happy Easter
Believe it or not, I consolidated these pictures as much as I could, but, yet--there are still a million on here! We had such a busy and wonderful Easter weekend that I just had to share all of the pictures. Saturday morning, we woke up bright and early (thanks to Mr Sunshine shown below) and headed out to my sister-in-law's sister's house (Was that confusing? My brother's wife's sister.) to dye Easter Egg's. Logan LOVED it and a big thanks to the Hanna's for having us over.

Here's Shane and I supervising the hunt =)
The Easter Bunny did stop by our house, and what did he bring? Well, bugs, frogs and candy of course! What else would a little boy expect in his Easter basket?!
Uncle Marty, Aunt Jill, Memaw and Granddad came over for a mid-day brunch and to watch Logan hunt eggs in the backyard.

As you can tell, we had a wonderful Easter. Logan loves the whole hiding and finding eggs thing and is still wanting to fill plastic eggs with stuff and hide them. I'm still eating green hard boiled eggs (currently green eggs in chicken salad.) So, we're all doing good.
This morning I went and enrolled Logan in pre-school for next year. (They actually call it pre-k Three's.) This was a huge decision for us that both Shane and I have gone back and forth on for many reasons. Mainly because it is a financial decision since we are a one-income family but also because it's a big deal to "let go" of him in a way. We're also worried about him transitioning into going to school away from us....But, in the end, we decided it was the right decision for our family and we're excited about it. He'll go on Tuesday's and Thursdays from 9-2pm starting at the end of August. I was soooo impressed with their curriculum and all that he will get to do. He will take music classes and have access to all kind of arts and crafts. They also have posted outside the classroom what they are working on for the week. They have a weekly theme, number, letter, vocabulary words and certain skills. It will be a big transition for us as I've been home with him for the last 3 years, but I'm really looking forward to giving him the chance to gain some independence and start to get ready for kindergarten.
We're headed to the panhandle on Friday to visit my Granddad with my brother and Jill. I know Logan will love getting to spend some time on the farm. But, this will be a difficult trip for me since it's the first one since my Grandma passed away. Unfortunately, Shane can't go with us but I'm so grateful to have Uncle Marty and Aunt Jill on hand to help with Logan.
