Fire Station

Earlier in the month, our local fire stations had an open house. We almost forgot, but thankfully, we remembered during dinner. Logan LOVES fire trucks and was really looking forward to it. We went to the station across from his school/our church first. They boys had a blast! But, when we were leaving, Logan said, "I'm sad that I didn't get to see a ladder truck." So, Shane being the awesome father that he is, made a special trip to a different station that he thought would have one there. They did! We were there on the later side of the night, so the fire men showed us a lot of details on the trucks/engines (we learned the difference!) We learned a lot and the boys had so much fun. Here are some cute pictures we took there.

This is the best one that I got of Logan and Graham together. I love how they are looking at each other! I have a feeling they'll be getting into trouble together before long....

Okay, so I'm the irresponsible mother who put her baby on the front of fire truck. Trust me, we were inches away and ready to catch him if he fell ;)

MIA

We're still here!! We have had a busy month. The biggest highlight is that Graham turned 1! I have a TON of pictures to share. I promise to do that soon. For now, here are 2 pictures taken of the boys over the last day. More soon!

The Boys

The last several weeks/months have been such a blur. Both of the boys are growing and changing so much that I can hardly keep up. They are getting to the point where they are playing together--which is adorable! This day, Graham was crawling onto this blanket and Logan was pulling him around the house. Graham LOVED it! He would crawl up the blanket as it was moving and just laugh and laugh.

Here they are playing blocks in our playroom. Even at 4, these wooden blocks are still one of Logan's favorite things to play with.

Graham is pulling up on everything! Everywhere!

Just cooking some dinner :)

First Day of Pre-k

Logan started pre-k this year! He is going to the same school (at our church) that he went to last year, has the same teachers and a lot of the same kids in his class. His teachers teach pre-k 3's on T/Th and pre-k 4's on M/W/F, so it works out great. We had several playdates with some boys from school over the summer, so he was looking forward to seeing everyone on the first day. This year, in addition to his music and computer classes, he'll also have Spanish.

Here he is at home before we left on the first day

10 Months Old

Just a quick post with some pictures to say HI!

My cousin got married over the weekend, so my Granddad is in town. Love him! SO MUCH! Here he is with Logan. Me and the boys (sporting my new short hair cut)

Family Picture

Mr Ten Month Old! I know that I say this every month, but wow. Seriously? Can someone please tell time to slow down? Please??

He LOVES avocado!

Sweet faceLogan saw us eating the avocado and got interested in the seed. So, we did some googling and decided to attempt to grow one! Here it is on day one. (And, these pictures are out of order, because this is Logan before his super short haircut in the earlier pictures.)

EDIT 8/8: I'm not sure what was up with this post. I added these pictures in on my iphone and then went back to add text on my lap top. For some reason, it kept eating my text and it wouldn't stick. Short version of the story was that our AC went out and we spent almost a week at my Mom's waiting for it to get repaired....I'll add in some picture descriptions really quick.

Shane and his boys at the top of our stairs. These gates are coming in VERY handy these days.
